Hey little Buddy! Don't get all burnt out yet! Have fun and just ride for now. I don't wan't to sound like your Dad, but I just came off a season of competing in two series. One had 18 races and the other 12. Not to mention that I raced in some other series that I wasn't even trying for, and I've run about 40 weekends this year. It's too much! I took the winter off even though there's a winter series I could be running. I'm just riding when I want, where I want and having fun. Don't forget to have fun! We don't get paid until we go pro. You got another 10 years! Do good in school, concentrate on math and science, and look for a mechanical engineering degree. Just be a kid Bro, don't take it seriously. Bust out the PC or PlayStation and relax. We're still kids and we need to do kid things. Don't grow up before your time.

Sorry, Dad talking. I just know what I've tried to do and it's really tuff! It's not worth it. Just have a great New Years, have fun and stay healthy. Stick close to home, ride a series that means something to you and then on the off weekends go run some trails with your Dad or just go play on a track somewhere. Remember this, seat time is learning time.

Happy New Year!
Josh
